On Friday, January 18, in the evening in the central part of Mexico, due to an illegal tie-in to the pipeline with fuel, a strong fire broke out. As a result, a state of emergency 20 people died, more than 50 involved in fuel intake suffered.
The victim is assisted; other details of the tragic incident are not reported, reports TASS.
Since the beginning of this year, the new government of Mexico has been implementing a strategy to combat fuel theft. To combat illegal tie-ins, the authorities stopped pumping fuel through several pipelines at once, switching to fuel delivery by tanks. In addition, troops have been deployed to all the refineries and transportation system facilities, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the latest data, as a result of the explosion and the ensuing fire on the pipeline with fuel in central Mexico increased to at least 71.
It is not yet possible to cope with fire calculations. Two cars with foam fire extinguishing installations, as well as specially trained employees of the oil and gas company, work at the scene of the incident.
